2010 Winter Anime Review(The idiot and the mandarin)

Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu – Wow, I did not expect the show to be this good. Not to mention the beautiful animation from beginning to start. Though the plot is kinda silly, it’s cute seeing chibi counterparts fighting just because of how high your GPA level is. I’m watching this, and it’s not because of the animation, but just because it involves idiots(like me). My favorite character has to be the “trap”. :>

Fall Anime Review part 1(genderbenders, cats, and parodies)

Kampfer – So, is yuri the in-thing for anime or something? I liked the first episode, but it needed less boobs and more action. The most annoying stereotype in this series is meganekko girls that are all shy. I’m really sick and tired of them being like a little pansy. I also didn’t like the main guy’s voice. He needs to hit puberty ASAP. The only thing I did like, however, was the seiyuu reference jokes. The rest was pretty mediocre. I don’t even know if it’s a trap now…. Gender Benders are confusing me now!! WHY?!?!

Thoughts: DAISUKE ONO OMG. Well, it looks sort of overdone because there are a lot of animes that involve schools with a whole lot of fantasy and such. I like the promo picture because it’s so colorful. I’ll definitely check out the 1st episode.

Summer Anime Review part 3(GAR, “moe”, action, and spring)

NEEDLESS – Adam, you will never be as GAR  as Kamina. Or maybe you’re not nearly as GAR as him. This is some sort of weird Gurren Lagann rip-off spin-off because you got an enemy that’s half human, a weakling, a female sidekick, a muscular guy, and someone that’s good at technology. More importantly, wtf was up with the ending? Yuri again?! It seems like Summer is the time for some yuri action. Ok, I admit, it was pretty good. I’ll be checking out this series. I know how they’re going plot the story now:

Shota likes girl, but girl likes GARman and is disappointed. GARman dies, shota becomes in despair. Shota meets true love, rival fights shota. Many years later, everyone grows up to build a society and shota becomes leader. Something goes terribly wrong, and he saves the day. But his true love dies.

Summer Anime Review part 2(Seagulls and childhood friends)

Umineko no naku koro ni – IT’S FINALLY HERE! I love the OP, but I hate the ED. I have never played any of the four games mainly because I didn’t like how they drew the characters. I guess my hype was totally worth the first episode. Four of my favorite seiyuus are in this series(Yui Horie, Daisuke Ono, Marina Inoue , Yukari Tamura). The strangest part in the episode was when Rosa b*tchslapped Maria because she kept saying “Uu~uu!” Make this the replacement “Hauuu~!” I know I’m going to get annoyed by her “Uu~uu”-ness by the fact that her mom is already. As for Battler, he’s hot. XD Yeah, barf all you want; He was a total perv in this episode. This will probably go on my Thrusday schedule, depending on subs.
