Haha I think I pretty much know the story for this. Moe-blob girl wants to learn how to play an instrument and meet some girls to form a band. And yeah I didn’t really get the beginning, but it’s only the first episode. It will soon unravel in later episodes, I hope.

So the girl goes traveling to her military base thing and stumbles on a “splashing” town. And then she gets help from this Mio-like girl. Hmmm and her name’s Rio too…. Mio…. Rio… Could it be coincidence?

Hmmm I don’t even know if this chick is tsundere at all. Her voice sounds snobby, I know that. She’s probably a genki type…
Well near the end kinda bored me until she played her trumpet really badly and I was all like “THIS GIRL”. And what’s the fun of this anime without a little hyper music? This was overall a decent episode and I’m hoping to see some developement in the future. As for blogging, I’m not entirely sure since I dunno what to blog about. Well I’ll see what’s gonna happen in the next episode… Also here is the pantsu screenshot I was talking about.
The setting actually intrigued me far more than the characters, who look almost identical to their K-ON! counterparts as you so aptly demonstrated. It seems to be some kind of post-apocalypse setting, and if it plays its cards right it might actually lend a little more resonance or substance to what otherwise would be a pretty fluffy moeblob anime.
The characters were “K-On!ized” they are completely different from their novel counterparts, and Cheribel FTW!!!!! I loved the game <3
